Mac and Cheese
Serves : 4 / Preparation Time : 30 minutes / Cooking Time : 20 minutes
La Cornue® Elements Used:
- Château : Gas burner or induction module and electric oven and grill
- Cornufé: Gas burner or induction module and electric oven
Macaroni, cooked al dente
Béchamel (50 cl milk, 30 gr butter, 30 gr flour)
1/2 litre
Grated cheddar cheese
150gr (100 + 50)
Parmesan Powder
  1. Prepare the béchamel.
  2. Remove from the heat and gradually add 100 gr of cheddar cheese and the parmesan cheese.
  3. Adjust the seasoning (salt, pepper)
  4. Butter the gratin dish
  5. In a bowl, mix the cooked pasta and the béchamel sauce.
  6. Fill the gratin dish and sprinkle with 50gr of cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven (170°C) for 10 to 15 minutes then a few minutes in grill mode according to the desired coloring and gratin
